SUNDAY M/O PRAYER MEETINGS
Downstairs Nursery 1:30p - 2:20p
These prayer meetings are not intended as a substitute for the Friday prayer meetings. Rather, the Sunday meetings are specifically geared towards lifting up our missionaries, outreach projects and potential partnerships in prayer. We will also spend time praying for local and global issues -- people, events and situations which we know touch God's heart as Creator of this earth. Of course, we will also spend time praying for each other, as individual or community needs arise. In this way, the Sunday prayer meetings will serve as a supplement to the Friday prayer meetings -- another place for members of our community to gather in faith and obedience. The Sunday prayer meetings are also a great time to get the "inside scoop" on the work being done by the M/O Ministry Team. The Team regularly dedicates part of the Sunday meeting time to status-checking on our missionaries, arranging current plans (for example, upcoming events with Even Start), brainstorming about future projects, and discussing current events. We welcome increased involvement, feedback and fellowship from the greater New Hope community in these conversations. The prayer meetings will be held at 1:30p on Sundays, in the downstairs nursery room, located underneath the sanctuary. (Take the back staircase, on your right as you enter the church building through the main doors.) They will last until 2:20p, giving all participants ample time to head upstairs and spend time greeting and fellowshiping before service starts at 2:30p. The M/O Ministry Team looks forward to joining with you all in prayer.
