Page 2 of 2 At the bottom there are three tabs, Images, publishing, and metadata. Through using these you can add images, add or remove a webpage from the website, add keywords for searches, etc. - Images tab * To add images from the image library, change the sub-folder to "General". Some of these images are low-res, which I will update as time allows. You will then get a range of available images. For illustration, I'm selecting joomla_01.jpg, giving a great picture of John Kwon.
* Press "Insert" button * Graphic is put into the "Content Images" column. * Other options available, which will be explained later. * In order for this image to appear you need to have clicked the "Insert Image" button somewhere within the Main Text or optional text. Doing so will add the code, which will be substituted by the graphic when you publish or save a published item. - Publishing Tab * Selecting "Published" under State makes an article visible on the website. Unpublished takes it off. * Selecting Public under "Access level" gives everyone access. Selecting "Registered" allows anyone to see, providing they are registered first. "Special" is limited to congregation members. * Author Alias isn't used, but would be how to add your name to an article. * Ordering will be explained later, but if for example you have three articles on the frontpage is how you sequence them. * Start Publishing is the current date by default, but you can choose another date through the button to the right to defer publishing to a future date. * Finish Publishing allows you to take off an article when it is no longer relevant. * Show on Front page allows you to publish an item to the front page. - Metadata tab will be explained later.Unfortunately, users who don't use Internet Explorer but other browser such as Safari, Netscape, or Opera, may experience difficulties in both editing content and minor formatting issues in previewing the site. If using a Macintosh or Linux computer, users are encouraged to use Firefox to minimize difficulties. Important Please do not use Safari on a Macintosh computer to edit pages on the NHF website. Due to a browser limitation, opening a page for editing and then saving will DELETE all existing content. The next tutorial is "Website Tutorial #4: How to Add a New Article."
