Edward Kim received his call to ministry during his undergraduate years at the University of Chicago. In pursuing that call he has journeyed to many places of training (Princeton, Gordon-Conwell, Trinity Divinity, and Regent College), and many ministries and conferences across the United States and abroad. Yet, it was not ultimately ministry that led him on these travels. In the end he believes that it was all just a desperate attempt to live Phil 3.10: “I want to know Christ.”  He currently pastors New Hope Fellowship in Westchester, New York, where he continues to carry that goal.
