One Thing I Ask (Psalm 27:4): This year's annual NHF Summer Retreat will be held from Friday to Sunday, August 11-13, at Nyack College, right across the Hudson River.  Please join us at this beautiful campus for a blessed weekend of fellowship, learning, sharing and continuing to taste of the full goodness of God and His Son Jesus Christ.

While final details are still being determined, here are the details we can give you now:

• every room we will gather and/or sleep in will be air-conditioned
• linens (towels and bedding) will be provided by the College
• we have access to a game room and an air-conditioned indoor gym/field for free-time activities
  
• we will receive five meals (three on Saturday, two on Sunday)
• Nyack College is only about 15-20 minutes from church, just minutes from the Tappan Zee Bridge (more precise directions will be forthcoming)
  

The costs for the retreat are as follows (a discount is available for college/medical school students and families whose attendance might be affected by the cost per person):

• Adults (including children ages 10 and up) = $113/person, at double or triple occupancy.
• Children (ages 3-9) = $56/person, at double or triple occupancy.
• Chidlren (ages 0-2) = totally, absolutely free.

Please prepare and bring the following:

• your Bibles and journals/notebooks
• hearts, minds and wills ready to know the Lord, submit to Him, be obedient to Him and receive from Him the abundant fullness of all that He is, for His glory
  

And one last thing: everything external and physical about this retreat weekend are ideal -- location, air-conditioning, facilities, pricing, etc.  However, these are not the only reasons to be excited about the Summer Retreat.  It is our hope that each of you will begin thoughtful and prayerful consideration of your hearts and your walks with the Lord in preparing your inner selves, the deepest part of your souls, for the retreat, whether we fellowship in air-conditioned bliss or not.  God is moving in great ways in New Hope Fellowship and in the people of this church.  Let us look forward with glad and excited hearts and open minds and obedient wills to the further ways our Father will enrich us, empower us, teach us and draw us to Him this weekend in August.
